Time for another Parky Perspective on one of the many symptoms we Parky’s deal with:. Sleep Disturbance. My particular flavor of sleep disturbance happens to be early rising. I often wake up at 3:30 or 4, wide awake. Sometimes earlier. This morning I was up a little before 2:30. And I have to say, I don’t really mind this particular “problem”. Something nice about quietly reading, listening to music, doing a little workout, getting an early start to my workday, even going for a bike ride (with lights, obviously), basically doing whatever I want without interruption, while the world sleeps. I get some of my best thinking done during these times. On days like today however, I do often end up feeling pretty drained around mid-afternoon. A short nap usually takes care of it and besides, I still think it’s a small price to pay for the glorious morning peace and quiet.
